Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps in the US: Q3 2025 Performance

In the third quarter of 2025, the Maps and Navigation category witnessed significant activity on a unified platform in the United States. According to Sensor Tower data, the top five apps showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Trucker Path: Truck GPS & Fuel experienced a consistent increase in weekly revenue, culminating at approximately $503K by the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 16K, while active users increased from 257K to nearly 299K throughout the quarter.

onX Offroad: Trail Maps & GPS saw its revenue peak at $220K in early September, followed by a decline to $147K by the end of the month. Downloads started strong at 60K but fell to around 35K. However, active users saw a rise, reaching over 357K mid-quarter before settling at 300K.

Revenue for Navionics® Boating decreased steadily, from $309K at the start of July to about $75K by September’s end. Downloads also declined, with a peak in early September at 12K before dropping to 3K. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at 50K.

LandGlide: GPS Property Finder showed a positive trend in revenue, growing from $87K to over $165K. Downloads maintained a steady pace, averaging around 10K, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at 59K.

Finally, Gaia GPS: Offline Trail Maps experienced a stable revenue pattern, averaging around $72K. Downloads showed a moderate decline from 11K to 10K, whereas active users remained consistent, hovering around 243K.
